And drove my 65w100, 47wdx, and 67wm around those streets and woods outside town, all of which I sold, talk about dumb. There was a fellow in my neighborhood who was a building contractor, he saw my 47 and was hooked and subscribed to the PW advertiser immediately but that was quite awhile back, I'm clueless as to his whereabouts today though and how may. And then there was John Minyard who moved from Austin to Houston about the time I moved back. He was the Power Wagon mechanical wizard back in those days and I remember driving down I35 in his m37 with a hot rodded 265 he put in it at full throttle, he would drive em as fast as they would go. I remember he installed a 318 and np435 in the splunkers(I believe it's the same fellow that has the PW bus article on this site) wm bus for their caving trips to Mexico. I bet they have some tall tales. Sad but true I don't know what happened to John, if anybody knows of him drop me a line.
