NO switch instead of NC ?

Normally Open, vs Normally Closed. Its a switch that screws into things, like transfer cases, trannys for reverse lights, etc.

I wonder if you have two switches on your TC? One for 2 0r 4, one for Hi/low? And they got swapped?
