I have never had any problems with my Dewalt cordless drills or impact wrenches. I use them to build cabinets and other construction work involving bolted connections -- lots of lag, drywall and pocket screws. I see them as something for intermittent use. To increase battery life, I drain them fully before recharging and do not leave them in the charger. If I am drilling a lot of holes or doing some other repetitive production work, I still use a corded drill.
