I have an 18 volt Milwaukee cordless hammer drill/screw gun that is about the same vintage. Made in the Czech Republic! Good service and good power from it although not as powerful as the really old (like '30's) !/2" Black & Decker drill that about beat me to death years ago underneath my '73 PW. I also have a Milwaukee Sawzall which is older. Works well also but it is is USA made.
