Well, today I spend switching out a bad differential housing. Where the caps mount to the housing, there were thin layers of housing metal that had been pushed out into curls. Not sure what caused it except a lot of torque and stress. I guess beer, a palm tree, and asphalt are not a good mixture. It's the only thing I can think of that might have caused it. I guess the lesson here is don't do any hard pulling on asphalt. The truck will definately do it, but you will have to deal with it later. Stay in the dirt!
