That looks very much like our road for hauling fuel into our placer mine camp in Matson Creek Yukon.A D9 would haul 60,000 gals at a time.Brakes?you had a whole dozer blade full of brakes,not so much uphill though.I myself often enjoyed driving to town in an m43 for a beer run.A couple pumps of the pedal pluslow range = lots of stopping power.Oh to be young again.
