With that old flat 6 I assume you are correct because I hear they have good power and the only way to make good power out of that low horespower would be gearing.
I am hoping to take this down a freeway and assuming I will top out around 80 (not towing at those speeds) only driving.
I will hopefully have 40" outside dimension tires, using the 47rh automatic transmission.
