Fortunately I am getting close to being able to hoist the engine over to the 39. Working room is a good point, in the measurements I have done there is only 1" on either side of the engine at the front. How would I replace a belt then??
Batteries need to go under the cab or the bed to make room in the engine compartment. I am not sure about the Turbo on the 5.9L it sticks out wide and needs room for the Intercooler line and the intake.
I have heard about remote mounting of oil filters which may be needed to give me a way to access it to change it.
I am not sure if I want to use the old gas tank, I assume it works, but it is very old and gas issues are bad they either mean fire or no running truck :(
