The carb had never been cleaned or "rebuilt" since I've had it so it needed that anyway. After disassembly I soaked the parts in cleaner for 2 - 3 hours and then blasted everything out with the air compressor. I'll take care of the vacuum leak first. If that doesn't work, I'll look into the idle circuit.
