Drive shaft loops

Probably a good idea on any drive shaft that could break at the front U-joint and dig into the ground, making what my dad would call a "jill poke". Less important on a winch, though, than on a regular drive shaft because you're not moving much when it breaks. I believe loops near the front of the shaft to catch it if the front U-joint breaks are required by law on buses. At least that's where I always see them.
