call john @ midwest - he will straighten you out. i believe the early ffpws use a slope top. you can use a m37 master, but you sound like you want to do it right. i was able to buy a fresh production wagner slope top master cylinder. it was usa made. whatever you and john work out will be correct and safe which is the main point of going through your brakes. i believe he offers sleeving and rebuild services for your master. i would stay away from imported brake parts. i had a bad experience. i agree about no foreign parts too. i have a made in japan water temp gauge. i hate it & will swap it out someday.
