Hi Paul. They are great saws. I still cut wood with my 045 that I bought a couple of days before my youngest son was born. They are around 33 years old now. Recently bought a telescoping trimming saw with a Stihl power head. It works great but doesn't start as easy as my 045, which usually starts on the second or third pull. Jerry
