I think the 80 gallon is better with tools that really pull air, like the sanders and sand blasters.
In humid climates like we have ikn the southeast U.S. I do believe the auto drain is nice, with the humidity in the air it really helps to keep the tank and air drier. I added it to my 60 gallon unit.I have a 60 gallon Eaton and really like it overall, but an 80 would be a little nicer. See this:
