Yes, I'm pretty sure it's the same as a pilot house axle. I think it was also used on a Chrysler New Yorker. I have a trailer in my bone-yard that I think was made out of a pilot house bed. If I wasn't snowed out of my land, I'd go pull an axle out of it and see if it's the same. The trouble is now that I know there's a 16-spline and 10-spline version of the same thing, my odds of getting the right one have gone way down.
