Is there a builder's tag on the truck or box that would lend one to believe this was a production model rather than just a fairly well-done one-off customization? I can see the motivation for lowering the floor if they're hauling safes or pianos. I'm not sure how a non-driven rear axle helps all that much, but maybe if they used a trailer axle and mounted it so the springs were under it (axle between springs and frame) it would be worth it.
