My local paper has several articles and an editorial about the attack on Pearl Harbor 68 years ago. Two articles involve local veterans who were there at the time. There is even a tribute article involving a local soldier who while in Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge gave his life while keeping a line of German tanks away from his fellow soldiers. He received the Silver Star posthumously. Belgium is erecting a monument in his honor.
Always remember December 7, 1941, teach the youngin's about the history they should know anyway.
