Ive never seen the spring break in a Cummins B. but it could , never say never right. Mine freaked me out when the sender failed. most of our customers need one by 130,000 miles,you got a lot of miles out of yours. Often you will see oil in the electrical connector. it sure is in a tough spot! when I saw oil splashing up at the rocker arms, I convinced my self it was ok to drive home. Have you tabbed the killer dowel pin on yours yet?
