A coat of paint will cover a multitude of sins > but the machine it self was ahead of its time and like all allis chalmers was well engineered > that diesil is /was good for 6000 /7000 hour before rebuild > with that should give a indication of the hours and why a rebuild . the shuttle back and forth was a solid system and i believe was aadjustable so you could take up wear > that style of bucket was suited for light work landscaper type and would not lend to much towards bulldozing heavy I would buy only if i found a parts machine FIRST as with most allis stuff its haeder and harder to find parts ~ Copey
