Marty... Hello, Macs do not ever crash or get viruses. I have not had a virus problem in at least 15 years. I don't bother with virus programs or firewalls. I never get spam e-mails. You just stated yourself the reasons I own a Mac. If you want cheap get a used G4 laptop. G-Man (Graphics?)
