Isn't the whole point of a shielding gas to keep the oxygen AWAY from your weld? If I wanted oxygen, I could just blow air on it. All I know at this point is that's the only stuff they stock here and N.W. Mine supply and that's all they use in their shop, so it must be okay. Whether it's better than straight argon or anything else, I have no idea.
