Chris, check the width and length, all three of those engines were different, and the firepower is the biggest,redram is the smallest. the engine in the picture is a 51,52,or53 the extra length on the back of the block may be a problem. 1954 was the first automatic and does not have the extra metal at the back of the block, about 4" shorter, may or may not help. BTW my first car (14 years old) was a 51 new yorker. wish I had it back. Dave.
