I am glad you bring up these other engines. I have jsut never been impressed by the torqueless euro cars/trucks. Another reason I think 4bt is the prefereed choice is because for 20 years Cummins and Dodge have been synonymous terms and the value of the truck, if someone needed to resell, would be at maximum value with a cummins compared to anything else. I know many of us do not consider resale value when putting together a Power Wagon as a tool that we need to use(like you use yours), but you never know when you might get in a pinch so why not build a truck that has the potential for high resale? Paul goes 70 down the highway with 4.89s and a 5 speed with his 4bt. that would work for me too.
