I grew up in Arlington. I know what you mean about how things have changed neighborhood wise!
For the last 32 years I have lived in southern Maryland. My family still lives in northern VA and I get up there regularly.
There are several people in the PW "family" who live in northern VA: Ed Bevis, Galen, Warren Watt, "Smokey Bear" and a few others others I have missed.
