She didn't sacrifice anything. She wanted to write a tell-all book and couldn't do it while in office. She was exposed as a bit of a dimwit during the campaign and it caught up to her. Being a quitter was motivated by profit, nothing else.
How is a massive book deal and speaking tour a sacrifice?
