I use NAPA # SL-169, mechanical switch. I fab a small tab to mount the switch on the hanging pedal assembly, the switch is activated by the brake pedal being depressed, allowing the switch button to lift and activate the stop lights. Same switch setup is used on all my trucks, including the PG W300. Works Slick.
And i do agree, they appear to be more dependable.
