if you can get a recore from a competent shop or a good used that the preferred route to go and that is what i would do. i was providing an alternative option to consider. if a custom radiator could be had in brass at a reasonable price, i believe that charles and the other PW vendors might offer them. i would figure about 3 grand for a fully new brass unit. i am not affiliated with charles or an advocate of AL or brass radiators. i provided an alternative, its up to the user to decide.
