On the front (firewall) end of my main mount, look for two holes. One hole on each side of the mount. This is where my springs were attached prior to removal. My new springs went back to the same places and work fine.

Remember, these springs are not returning the
Clutch and Brake Master Cylinders, but rather making sure the pedals are fully back and not rattling.
