Tire options

Greetings from N.H. I could use some advise as to what the best radial tires would be for my '57 WM 300 Power Wagon. It has the stock 7.5"X16" steel/split ring Budd rims. I would like to maintain as close as possible, the stock tire ht. for road speed purposes. In addition, I would like the widest tire, that I can safely fit on my rims. Thanks for your help. Jack.
