Cops or traffic engineers. My project last winter was to put highway gears in my ’63 FF. I had a Denver speedometer shop build me a unit to make the speedometer correct. My question is, how accurate are the “your speed is” set ups they put by the side of the roads in problem areas? You know the little trailers with the radar speed displays.
I had the speedo shop dial in 2 or 3% more in the converter as I am running Power Kings and I didn’t know how much bigger they are from whatever came stock. The Power Wagon is going about 3 MPH faster according to the radar than my speedo says. The kicker is that my modern truck indicates it’s going 3 MPG slower that the radar says.
Anyone?
