You need the old ones with the 'fifth rivet' in the crotch. The strategically placed rivet sets up a harmonic in the quantum waves. Seems the parabolic shape of the tin foil beanie amplifys the waves, which acts to jamb the signals from "Them".
Hood windlace rivets work as an acceptable sustitute, since they work just as well as Levi's copper rivets. Put the smooth side in... better reflections that way.
