Do to the age of these trucks, we usualluy assume the fuel problem is the pump since they use a diaphram. But because of there age, the best thing to do is clean the tank, lines, carb. If we eliminate them as a possible cause, the fuel pump becomes the only issue. Most of the time, we put gas in them, start them and drive them until a problem appears, which is fine. We just delay what we should do in the beginning.
