Not to cast a doubt but that picture looks a bit suspect. The critter was reported to be alive with a fatal injury, but there is no blood in the water... The critter looks to be held together by just the spine, meaning that it must have taken a bite from both sides. Is that realistic? Lastly, the water looks more of prop wash in a small lake than in the ocean.
Im sure I wrong, but I'd sure like to see a more covincing picture!
