Put a vacuum gauge on the suction line at the fuel pump to make sure its working 3 to 5 inches. Then if its OK go back at the tank and check there to see if its there also. May have a poor connection or rubber hose. One time at a freinds house we took a old vacum cleaner and switch the hose around to blow and stuck it in the filler neck till we got gas at the fuel pump.
