not even close! ford has carb and exhaust onthe other side! Adn the combustion chamber is alot more refined. I have an aussie buddy who used to run around in those cars and race them in the 80s. its reputaition is met with great respect. at one point it was the fastest production vehicle inthe Oz including american big block cars.
