OK no rain is not getting into the fuel. What it is that the Carb ices up at the base of the throttle plate. Air temp and humidity play a big role in a stallling mopar. It effects fuel mixture to a rich condition and idle goes away till it stalls. A few things to look at is a choke pulloff that is set and working right, good working heat reiser valve, And If possible and air cleaner with a hot/warm air intake from a hose from around the exhaust manifold. It is controlled from a temp sensor in the air cleaner and vacum operates the door in the air clearner. These things are very important to help the mighty Mopars run at there best. V8s have a heated cross over under the carb that the heat riser closed pushed exhaust from one side to the other when cold. Heats up the base of the carb to prevent Icing. Also a item overlooked is that the carb needs a gasket between the air horn and air cleaner. It would be nice to have you come over to my shop some Saturday morning have coffie and donuts wile we talk Mopar. Hope it helps. If you would like more info let me know. Bill.
