Ok boys My sons Mighty Dodge with the big C under the hood had a lift pump [after market]that stoped working about about a 1000 miles ago. He never had a problem with starting or running the truck. We found the fuse for the pump was blown and after some checking its drawing about 20 amps. To high. We are ok on fixing the pump but why did the truck run so good for the last 1000 miles. Everybody says that the injector pump will go bad. Now that the lift pump is fixed it runs great??? Bill. PS truck was in for service thats how we found the lift pump was not working.
