Yes I agree. I bought my Jake brand new for my '06 for $1100.00. A mechanic friend installed it for me for around $400. It has been the best add to my truck. I have my truck straight piped and removed the catalytic converter. It sounds like a small jet ready for take off when it's idling and the Jake switch is on.
I guess I didn't realize the pump runs constantly. I figured the 2 second delay was the time it took to engage the pump.
