My bed is not yet bolted down, its just sitting happily on the frame rails. My bed will require some creative mounts as the fire dept built a channel frame work, then put down one full sheet of diamond plate.
With that said, I went to my 1960 Dodge Truck Parts book for P Series Trucks. There are no pictures or drawings of mounting the bed.
However in the parts list it shows the following information;
The 9 foot Utiline bed is a P-D72 54" wide x 108" long x 22 & 7/16" high
This bed uses 8 bolts to mount. The Bolts are 7/16"x20 3 &3/4" long
Short beds only use 6 bolts of the same size listed above
