For the most part I tend to agree with you. But having said that I have come to appreciate some of the creature comforts offered now days. I'm a little further north than you and I've got to say I really like the heated seats. I've got them on three of my vehicles and yes even on my Harley Davidson. It gets so doggone cold up here in the wintertime that it's like sitting on a frozen rock when you climb into the vehicle to start it and let it warm up. It's about 20 miles home from work and when it's 60 degrees below zero without heated seats the family jewels are in severe pain! Now that's cold! We all say remember the good old days and there are truely things to be treasured from the past, but if I had to give up my chain saw and get on the end of a one or two man saw I would probably wind up moving south. There's a lot to be said for modern conveniences.
