If you go to church on the Sunday following the purchase of the truck for $850,
pray for forgiveness, go to confession, and most of all put lots of money in the donation box,
yo will certainly be forgiven and go directly to where every one else goes.
We will find that out when our time comes!!!
On the serious side:
Maybe the true value of these trucks is alot less than what we pay for them. In the past forums,
we have certainly discussed how the prices of these trucks have gone way up while dreaming of that old lady
that has an antique sitting around and wants to get it off her property and is willing to give it away.
Maybe this seller knows that there are people out there willing to spend ridiculous amounts of money to
get an item that they crave but feels it is wrong to take advantge of the buyers desire.
In the world outside this forum, a good Power Wagon maybe worth $850 or less. To some of my friends, my 53 that I paid $4000 for is a piece of
junk that they would not want even if it was given to them and delivered to their door. Just like the Matchbox's that I collect and the antique wood tools
that I use, are worthless to some and valuable to others. Even the Amish Farmer that I have bought tools from has the Stanley antique tool guide.
You will get a better price for an item if you sell it in the right circles. And every item has its right circles. I am sure that this seller knows that.
To some, it is better to ask a lower price, make a quick sale, and get rid of unwanted clutter than to interview many prospective buyers while trying to get top dollar.
In business, the buyers demand for an item determines the price more that anything else. There was a time were you could not give SUV's away, and now everyone wants them.
LOOK AT THE SUV PRICES NOW!!!
Just looking at things from a different point of view.
