I have never heard of a 413 being called a wide block. I guess the better question would have been what color were 413-3 heavy duty motors during that time frame or even what color were the 383 motors in w-300 power wagons for 1968. I am considering putting a 413 hd motor in my power wagon with a 727 auto(knee problems) and want it to look relatively stock.
