Jay, don't listen to Perry, he is clueless! I installed the Warn OD in my 48 CJ2A when I was a fourteen. 60mph is way better than 50mph with 5.13 gears!. Your CJ5 should have 3.73 or 4.88 gears and it is the best thing to ever happen to pre AMC Jeeps!! You can split all gears. Going up a steep hill (like in CO) you can go to 2nd OD and have the perfect gear. Put a 4 speed (SM420) in it and you will have the best of all gears. With a Buick V6 you will be flying down the highway. I am envious. Gar
