Chris. MY recommendation for future engine rebuilds....replace the clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing when rebuilding an engine. If you have had clutch adjustment problems for 10 years, you have stretched the fuse.
As Tim suggested, your driveline might be the culprit, as well. You can usually inspect the u-joints and slip-joints by putting everything in neutral and jacking up the front and rear.
