I am going to do the same conversion myself. I am converting an 85 d-300 to 4wd. It looks like some of the holes do not exist in the 2wd frame, but others do. I have a donor 84 w-300 and I would suggest you do the same. Its usually cheaper to buy a beat donor vehicle than to source out the parts individually. It looks like the brackets and crossmembers needed are the same as a 1/2 or 3/4 ton also. you will need the front and rear brackets for the leaf springs, the leaf springs, the engine crossmember and the crossmember under the radiator( you dont have to change this but the 2wd rad crossmember has brackets welded to it for the strut rods that the 4wd does not need and you may have to remove it to get the engine crossmember out and in). You will also need the crossmember under the trans and transfer case and the transmission itself. then of course you will need a dana 60 front axle with the correct gear ratio that matches your rear axle. Also dont forget to grab a front driveshaft for that transfer case front axle combo. be prepared to drill a couple large holes for the rear brackets the leaf spring shackle hooks to.If you are converting an auto trans to manual dont forget all the parts including pedals brackets etc. It sounds like alot but it looks relatively easy. If you have any other questions just drop me a note and I will help to the best of my ability. Scott.
