RM used to make a good full Epoxy called 889. Shops hated it because it was as hard as a rock & it could take upwards of a month to fully cure.
Most urethane's continue to dry long after you've sanded them, causing orange peel.
Everyone has a favorite but a full epoxy primer is the best coating if you're willing to put in the extra work.
At least at the rough in stage...it sands fine when boarding...it's just the wet sanding that takes extra elbow grease.
I don't mind the extra work...worth it :)
