The simple checks are sparkplug wires (should be the resistor type) and coil connections. Make sure all your grounds are solid. If that doesn't help you can get suppressors that wire into the power wire on the radio (which is essentially just a capacitor wired in line), you can probably find instructions on what to use on the web.
