The BBD 2bbl on my 230 has taken to bucking and surging about every 1/2 mile. Fuel pump is good, good flow from tank. But it just occurred to me that it might run well with full bowl, then the bowl runs dry because of low pressure. Once the bowl refills, it's good to go again.
I think I may drill out the inlet orifice, that would make low pressure push harder against the spring in the inlet need- double the area, double the amount of push. Makes sense, if the BBD needs double the pressure.
