3rd time out with W100 and broke down

Headed out for a 25 mile trip, 5 mile into it started to sputter, coasted to side, revved up, seemed ok, went another 40 ft did it again and died. gave it 5 mins pulled out made it 1/2 mile and quit again.
I thought coil, since it was getting gas (currently using elec fuelpump) Poly 318 by the way. Wife came from work, picked me up, went into town picked up new coil and tow dolly.
Put new coil in, ran much better, made it 3 miles and quit, then put it on the tow dolly and brought it home.
Could it be the condenser?
I also have to find out what the awful squeal is, guess I'll jack it up and listen.
Thanks for any help or ideas, sorry about the long post.
