OK, I went out to the garage and tinkered.... There is no way to flip the original one, the engaging arm is on a fixed part near the nose. So i put the other one in (same thing from ebay, the fly wheel didn't fit) and marked it up, ground out a little groove for the flywheel, and it fits. now I have to figure out the rest of the connections with the remote solenoid.
