The passenger side drop would actually work for me, I just need to see if I have straight cut or helical cut gears in the 5 speed. It's a 1955 truck and I am assuming that they are straight cut (or the syncros are completely shot). So this one mounts so that the drive stub faces to the rear or to the front?
I would prefer the one that goes on the back of the transfer case, as there would be less drive line fabrication involved getting the drive shaft around the transfer case.
I wanted to ask you also, Does that guy who lives by you still have that blue International with the sleeper cab on it? If you ever get a chance to go into town on the back road could you have a peek and let me know? I may have to send Bart up there on a Recon mission...
